Daniel recently joined Crowdpark as a Marketing & Finance intern. Here he reveals his first impressions of Berlin.
I started interning at Crowdpark about two weeks ago and have decided that it is one of the best internships I’ve ever had (considering that it’s my first internship). I had no idea what to expect when I walked in the office doors, but on the first day everyone was very friendly and I had no problem adjusting to the Crowdpark family.
I’m so glad I went through Intrax and was able to intern at this great tech start-up.
Being from Miami and going to school at Florida State helped prepare me to have an open mind and to live in such a culturally diverse city as Berlin. What surprised me most was the creative graffiti around my workplace and being woken up by the howling monkeys at the Berlin Zoo every morning.
If any city were to be called a concrete jungle, then Berlin would be first on my list. Having said that, Berlin is a very lively city with many awesome concerts and festivals, as well as the 400,000 ‘fan mile’ home to the public viewing sessions of the Euro 2012, and much more – these things will make my summer in Berlin one not to forget.
